MY MUM AND “MY MUM”

MY MUM AND “MY MUM”

I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL TO MY “MOTHER”

“I have always loved my biological mother and have always been grateful to her despite all the afflictions due to her heedlessness and selfish needs but I will forever be grateful to my “mother”.” Says Alice.

Alice grew up without her biological mum.

On the 1st January, 1990, one of the cleaners; Auntie Mary at the hospital where Alice was born, found out that Alice’s mum had escaped. Leaving behind a feeble baby girl knowing very well that the baby may require her attention the most. The kind-hearted woman quickly picked up the baby and sent her home under the necessary conditions. The woman had to quit her job in order to devote all her time to taking care of the child. 3 years later, Auntie Mary found out at the hospital that, the baby’s mum made an attempt to abort the baby 3 weeks after she realized that she was pregnant. God being so good, it failed the first and the second time. Her doctor friend advised she had the baby, after they found out it was impossible to get rid of the baby and that could have worsen issues. The baby was named Alice by Auntie Mary. Auntie Mary had no children as old as she was and lived alone all her life. After quitting her job as a cleaner, she resorted to her farm and some savings to be able to provide for baby Alice. Her situation wasn’t an easy one because, she couldn’t take Alice to the best school. She managed to enroll her in a free tuition school. Alice being an excellent child, never ceased to assist others in any area. She will hawk after school just to sell cassava for a living. At age 12, Alice became very matured and thoughtful. She had the ambition of becoming a medical doctor. It was during this time that, Auntie Mary uncovered her story to her. She was agitated by her story. She became anxious and asked that she met her biological mother so that she could ask for explanations. On the other hand, she was very grateful to Auntie Mary for taking up the responsibility of a Mother.

I have realized that, giving birth to a child doesn’t give you the title of a real mother. From the story above, Auntie Mary played the role of a real mother. She brought up the child as she was supposed to even at her age.

If you have been in such a situation, I hope you don’t get discouraged and remain grateful to both your biological mum and “mother” because I believe they played a significant role in our lives.

Let us, who have experienced the love and care of our mothers forever be filled with gratitude.

MOTHERS ARE BEING CELEBRATED TODAY

SOME MOTHERS ARE NOT KNOWN AS MOTHERS

BEING A MOTHER IS BACKED BY ONE’S ACTIONS

THAT IS WHY A GOOD MOTHER NEEDS TO BE EXTOLLED

WOMEN ARE BEING CELEBRATED TODAY

BUT NOT ALL WOMEN ARE BEING CELEBRATED

ONE BECOMES A WOMAN BY NATURE

NATURE DOESN’T DETERMINE EVERYTHING

THE MOTHER OF THE MOTHER IS ALWAYS CELEBRATED

THEY ALWAYS DISPLAY THE BEAUTY JUST AS CREATED

ALWAYS MEETING THE SCALE AS CALIBERATED

AND PERMEATE THE WORLD WITH GOOD FOODS AS CULTIVATED
